EDGERTON OTTERS 

2023-2024 Edgerton Otters Winter Season

The Edgerton Otters is a rec swim program available to Edgerton area elementary and middle schoolers ages 7-14.  Practices this year will be held Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Edgerton High School Pool.  Swimmers aged 7-10 will practice from 6-7 PM and swimmers aged 11-14 will practice from 7-8 PM.

The first practice will be on Nov 13th.  

The Otters are part of the Badger Central Swim Conference (BCSC).  During the season we participate in about 6 or 7 swim meets, some home and some away.  Almost all swim meets are on Friday nights, with an occasional Saturday morning meet.  The season concludes with a conference swim meet the weekend of Feb 10th.

Cost of registration is $130 per swimmer.  That includes a team suit and swim cap.

All swimmers who are new to the Otters will be assessed on their skills and their readiness at the first practice. The Otters are a swim team, not swim lessons. At a minimum, it is expected that all new swimmers are competent in the water, and are able to swim a minimum of two lengths of the pool continuously while using rotary (side) breathing for freestyle, and be able to swim two continuous laps of backstroke without stopping.

Registration for the Winter 2023-24 season opens Monday Oct. 2nd.
